Who we are
This policy explains how Amyola Limited ("Amyola", "we", "us"), a private company registered in Nigeria (RC 9902196) with its registered office at 3, Olore Area, Ayo-Akari Street, Ibadan, Oyo State, handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us or work with us. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies to you, other data protection laws such as the GDPR.
What we collect
- Details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company and the content of your message when you request a quote or contact us.
- Information needed to deliver a project or service, such as billing details and project files.
- Basic technical data when you browse, such as your browser type, device and pages visited, collected through server logs and any cookies described in our cookie policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To deliver, support and invoice the work you ask us to do.
- To keep this website secure and working well.
- To send updates you have asked for, such as academy announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Our legal basis
We process personal data because you asked us to (for example to prepare a quote), because it is necessary for a contract with you, because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, because the law requires it, or because you gave your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, email and payment providers, and only as far as they need it. They must protect it and may only use it on our instructions. We may also share data when the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our team members and service providers are outside Nigeria. When personal data leaves Nigeria, we make sure it is protected as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act, for example through contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project and billing records for as long as the law and our contracts require. When we no longer need personal data, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your data, or limit how we use it.
- Stop using your data for marketing, or object to other uses.
- Move your data to another provider where that applies.
You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the data protection authority where you live.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, so we also have a process for handling and reporting data breaches.
Our products
Products we run, such as AmyNav, have their own privacy notices that explain how data is handled inside those services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
